Mental Games
I very much like the Belgian painter René Magritte – a fact which is clearly visible and which inspired me to paint “Mental
Games”. However, I painted my own individual picture. The man with bowler hat looks at the Tuscany landscape (my favourite landscape). Again, the red curtain is a part of the painting. I painted a
beautiful woman (“Striptease”) behind his back. He cannot see what is going on behind his back. He just looks at the oversized female breast in the Tuscany landscape. He might develop phantasies which
are already obvious. But he does not know that. Or does he? Again, it is a mental game.
