My Angel
With this picture, I wanted to show two beautiful bodies in an imaginary landscape. Each body is wrapped in light cloths and only reveals
very little skin. I spontaneously had the idea to paint the male figure with wings – however, I can’t tell why.
The red curtain on the left-hand side is typical of my paintings. They also reveal something and do not show what is behind the curtain. The
red curtain is an excellent eyecatcher for the viewer. The clock shows the time which slips away. The thumb and the bucket, the letters are again pure imagination. Letters, however, can frequently be
found in my paintings. I love writing letters by hand and I also enjoy receiving letters.
